Do you give money to charity?


Whether it's popping your spare change into a shop money box or donating monthly to your favourite cause, most people find a way to give to the less fortunate. But how much do you give and who to?

Lara, 22 Unfortunately I don't give money to charity. I used to volunteer and give money to people on the street, but I can't really afford to right now.

Amy

Amy, 22 I really want to give money to charity but I can't at the moment. I'm hoping that one day when I have enough money to give I will.

Paul

Paul, 23 My charity donations are quite small. I put the odd amount of money into the charity box. I also play the lottery, which goes to charity, and I pay tax. That's about it though!

Steve, 19 If I see someone that I think deserves it then I'll give it to them. I usually put my pennies into the donation box. Sometimes I give to animal charities because my dog has been sick in the past.

Aisha

Aisha, 16 I frequently give money to charity. My Mum watches shows on Islamic channels so she gives quite a lot of money to those. We also give lots of old clothes to charity which often ask for donations.
