What is audio RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) enables you to easily discover when websites have updated their content.

Instead of having to visit sites each day or week, wondering whether there's something new, you can set your browser or 'feed reader' to do the task for you. It will automatically tell you when new material has been added to the site.

How is it used on TheSite.org?

We provide feeds for discussion forums, articles, video and audio files on TheSite.org. By subscribing to them, you can keep track of new discussion topics, factsheets, features, video and audio content the instant they're added.

How do I get started?

You can either use your browser or a 'feed reader' application. Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers allow you to subscribe directly to a feed. These browser-based feed readers let you catch up with your feed subscriptions from any computer. Downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer, in the same way that you either download your email using Outlook, or keep it on a web-based service like Hotmail. Popular feed readers include Netvibes and bloglines.

To 'subscribe' to our audio files, see the Audio FAQ article.

I've got podcasting software

An easy way to do this is right click on the feed button below and choose "save target as..." (in Internet Explorer) or "Copy link location" (in Firefox). Then paste it into the place required in your podcasting software. For iTunes, click on this link.
